Embroidery on textile
May 10, 2010
Embroidery on textile is an age old tradition being practiced for decorating the fabrics with creative designing performed through stitching where one material is layered over another smartly giving it an entirely new look.
Wool and thread stitches are worked upon woven fabrics, usually in embroideries of all types. Traditional non-woven materials include felt and leather but contemporary textile artists perform embroidery on variety to non-traditional kind of material for example plastic sheeting.
Usually specific stitches of embroidery are used. Another such form is hand embroidery. It is performed without the help of similar electric tool and sewing machine. Traditional artists who inherit this talent through their ancestors and are skilled in craftsmanship use this form usually.
Hand embroidery has been replaced by machine embroidery nowadays since machine embroidery reduces the hard work and saves time too. It has a vast area of its own and is used for creative working on singular pieces and even at collective clothing products.
Reaction of Fabrics under burn test
April 29, 2010
Cotton, a plant fiber smells similar to burning leaves right when being burned with steady flames. The residue that is the ash remains can be easily crumbled. Few small burning cotton samples too can be burnt out just the way a candle does.
Linen: Another variety of plant fiber is slightly different in approach from cotton since cotton fibers are shorter than linen yarns that are made up longer. Much more time is taken by linen to ignite. Material/fabric which is close to ash is brittle. Linen can be quickly extinguished while being blown over just like a candle.
Silk burns quickly and is a protein fiber, not specifically with a steady kind of flame but with a smell of burning hair. Residue is quickly crumbled. Samples of silk cannot be quickly extinguished like linen and cotton.
Wool takes time to be ignited in comparison to silk and is hard protein fiber since individual fibers of hair are short than silk and fabric weave is usually loose than that’s there in silk. Steady flame is there but cannot be kept burning for long.

New designs are inspired by existing ones
December 5, 2009
Garments in latest styles are based on inspiration from existing designs which are then merged with selected color combinations, textures and patterns. Exporters from India and Abroad adopt basic principle for creating classic designs that can suit the requirements of the people.
To cater the demands of customers is the basic purpose behind along with building their distinct recognition in the market and all this is only possible when they move ahead with the needs and requirements of the public. What’s the use of developing something that is based on certainty, whether it designs would be accepted or not? Even the garment exporters in India and fabric manufacturers work in accordance with the prevailing market condition. Indians are very much conscious about their clothing habits. They are not open to wear anything they get in the market. They have a class and style with emotions aligned with them which make them very much choosy about their dress up. With emotions dipped in style affects colors and designs that is not only liked within the country. Indian designs move across the boundaries having global recognition all around.
Fabric and garments developed by garment manufacturers India are very much in demand in International market. People love the ethnic look with bit of contemporary touch in different countries and so they reach to this city searching for authentic materials. Garment industry develops masterpiece every time it starts working and no one can find anything similar to its kind.
